Even if it’s cold and gloomy outside – no one can feel a chill inside this pub. A wonderfully ornate and exuberant interior for a pub in Devon. Something that happens a lot in Britain, is that the inside of a space can really surprise and delight you, with no forewarning offered by the exterior.
It goes beyond just pubs. A small little window leads to a multilevel shopper’s paradise. A fast food joint turns out to have second, even third floors. A grey old dame of a building is a wonderland inside with hidden delights and a restaurant you never knew about. What you see is not always what you get.
