Held in a beautiful venue, the Cliveden Literary Festival takes place this year on 23 and 24 October. Described once by Alain de Botton as “the most dignified and beautiful literary festival on the planet” – Cliveden may not be the biggest of the events, but is certainly packs a punch. This year brings together big thinkers, big books, big writers and big names. It is not cheap, but then, nothing worthwhile ever is. If you are anywhere close to Berkshire, this is definitely one for the books. It is also my last true litfest for the year, with only Plymouth Comicon still forthcoming.
