In the book industry – that is, the business side of publishing – Frankfurt is the big one. A lot of the book fair is dedicated to rights and licenses and the global book supply chain. This year’s Frankfurt Book Fair takes place between 22 and 24 October.
Apart from all the trade networking and connections and the usual exhibitors, there are a few events designed to draw in the private visitors as well.
The ARTS+ is an exchange that brings together business and creatives for the exchange and sale of Creative Intellectual Property.
All very good, and all very exciting.
I won’t be attending this year, as I’m literally evented-out and don’t feel like travelling outside of the UK for the rest of the year, at least. But it is a tremendously useful and high octane event for those in the publishing industry.
