Learning New Stuff
6 July 2021

A quick, pragmatic break from my very busy production schedule: I’m in class for three days. I love that I can spend three action-packed sessions away from the worlds in my head and the conundrums of characters on pages to learn something new, properly, and add it to my repertoire. It does interrupt the flow of the work – but in a good way. I’ll be back to the old gig soon enough, this time, perhaps, with some fresh knowledge to enrich the whole thing. Happy to be learning from some a-grade teachers, too. Those are rare. Anyway – I don’t have a lot of time so I’ll have to run. But just wanted to say that, for me, learning new things makes life worthwhile.
