Portal Between Worlds
1 June 2022

There are a billion boundaries and limits around us every day. Some are there for good reason… public order, civil life, civilised interactions, safety, realism. Then there are also other margins – more often than not self imposed. Lies we tell ourselves about who we are, and who we are not, what we can, and what we can not. Lids that limit our jumps as if we were no more than fleas. And then there are nature walks – those little rituals of actual magic – who help us gain perspective and see our thoughts in the context of the rest of our heads, and the world, and we realize we can transcend more than we ever dared to dream. Our limits are nothing once we’ve caught them out as being fake. Sometimes nature gives us a hand – or at least a sign – as she did here with an idea stimulating portal.
