Rest Pretty
1 November 2021
Well, I don’t want to bring anyone down, but we are all dying since the day we are born. And eventually we check out. I was walking past the cemetery the other day and saw this… which looked more like a garden than a grim field of tombstones. All the pretty flowers and lush grass attracted bees and butterflies and birds. And I figured, if I had to rest, perhaps resting in a pretty space like this might cheer me up. Or cheer up those who visit me (am I being ambitious, or what?) Point is – looking at this courtyard next to a beautiful old church, I realized that this is very much a place of life.
