Families, friendly peeps, frolicking couples, four-footed friends – what a place and what a day to be outside. There are some truly magnificent beaches scattered throughout the UK – and in summer you might as well be on some tropical island somewhere. In winter, they are no less soothing to the soul. There is something very inspiring about story seas – as a writer, I like those far more than watching aspiring Baywatch extras sunbathing. Far more. And then there are also perfect days – when the sun is neither too bright nor too dim. And somewhere in the back of my head, I can hear the Zac Brown Band warming up…
