Urban Texture

A view of the skyline, looking from the North of the city centre towards the South. It is only at specific sites that I’m reminded I live in a city. Mostly, the place feels like a big village. But this is the biggest city for many, many, many miles – and a lot of folks from Cornwall and South Devon have this as the biggest metropolis. I like the gritty vibes that urban environments include. Life, real life, is never too perfect. People don’t like like Photoshopped PR shots. Buildings aren’t straight out of architectural magazines. Reality has grit and grime… almost always, if you know where to look. My town.
