I don’t know what it is about a winter sun – but I love it. It’s not quite winter yet, although the days have cooled. But the air is getting chillier and the winds are picking up – you can tell the water in the Sound is choppy. It could be that the sun just hangs low in the sky… or perhaps it passes through filters of fog and cloud different from when it is summer. But the quality of the light is entirely different. Brighter, surreal, or just some artistic LUT or filter superimposed on the world… not sure. But I like it.
