So yeah – after a month and half away from work – I’m finally back. Moving is chaotic, and there was just no way I could give my work the necessary focus to do anything worthwhile. My readers have been generously patient – on every level. But – here we are – break time is over, playtime is paused and the work resumes. First the baby currently in post-production: The next book release will be Cursed Land, closing the Fairbridge series (for now) and it is likely to launch in the fourth quarter of 2021. On the actual production side, it’s science fiction: all systems go, all the time, we never close. Progress is slow but steady – and I’m super excited about what’s been flowing on the page. Newsletter subscribers will get more inside peaks – some of which will never be released to any other audience – so if you’re into worldbuilding, or want to get a head start on the setting or history of the world ahead – sign up. Titles are not finalized yet (although I began dangerously fixating on my favourite), but the story powers ahead. In pre-production, some research and training for thrillers and YA (but nothing I can disclose yet). When can the sci-fi book be expected? It’s impossible to say right now – a year, year and a half from now perhaps. Getting the baby written is only half the journey – a lot of cooks get involved after it’s done, and a lot of work lies ahead after I write THE END. But yeah – every day brings us closer to the book – and this one is several decades in the making.
